We are offering the opportunity to receive a reimbursement for expenses incurred to attend the IEEE SaTML 2025 conference to each of the 3 winners of the RAMD competition. Applicants must be affiliated with an institution from EU or an EU associated country (see list).

Important requirements to get the refund:

  • Max. eligible costs per person: 3,000€.
  • Eligible costs: travel costs; accommodation (max. 158€ per night); food (max. 124€ per day).
  • All expenses must be documented by original invoices, receipts, and tickets, showing the applicant's name and address (receipts containing university/institution name are not allowed).
  • No later than 20 days after the last day of the visit, a request for reimbursement and all the receipts must be submitted to receive the refund to elsa-travel@cispa.de.
  • We encourage traveling by train. Air travel: only economy class can be reimbursed and additional luggage is not reimbursed. Personal costs for oversized baggage, medical expenses, hotel charges (e.g., fines), or life insurance are NOT eligible for reimbursement.
  • Direct payment to an university/institute is not possible, only natural persons can be reimbursed by the mobility programme.

Have you already used the ELSA mobility fund? In this case, you must deduct the amount you have already benefited from the maximum allowed refund.
